Terms of Service

1. The Partner Program. The MK1 Partner Program is a free membership operated by MK1 (마크원), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea. Membership gives access to partner services described on this site.

2. Non-exclusive relationship. Partnership is non-exclusive and confers no territorial rights, no commercial agency, no power of attorney, and no authority to enter into contracts, collect payments, or make representations on behalf of MK1.

3. Certificates. Partner Certificates remain the property of MK1, are valid until the expiry date printed on them, and may be revoked at any time. Certificates may not be used for commercial-agency registration in any jurisdiction.

4. Transactions. All transactions are subject to MK1's standard terms of sale. Work starts with a 50% deposit and the balance is payable before shipping documents are released. Partners holding a USD 10,000 security deposit with MK1 may proceed without the upfront deposit, up to a limit of 10 vehicles or USD 50,000 in unsettled purchase value at any one time, whichever limit is reached first; no further vehicle can be started until the limit is cleared. Both the vehicle count and the unsettled value are released as soon as the balance on a vehicle is settled. The balance remains payable before documents are released. The security deposit is held without interest and is refunded in full when the partnership ends, less any amount then outstanding. Any other arrangement must be agreed in writing on a per-transaction basis. Service fees are quoted per request.

5. Termination. Either party may end the partnership at any time. MK1 may suspend or remove accounts that provide false information or misuse the MK1 name.

6. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

7. Language. These Terms are made in English. Translations of this website and of these Terms into other languages are provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between the English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail.

8. Dispute resolution. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Partner Program or these Terms shall be submitted to the Seoul Central District Court, Republic of Korea, as the court of exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
